Hello!

I want to share an essay I’m really proud of, published by the awesome folks at

Short Reads

last November. It’s about pets, and how they affect and are affected by family dynamics.

This was my first publication in a major outlet (Short Reads has published the likes of Dinty W. Moore, editor-in-chief of Brevity), so I was super excited when I got their email.

Some of you may have read a previous draft of this essay, but I hope you don’t mind reading the final version.
