You are always surprising us with new stuff everytime you write a new post! 😀
I've liked very much you Haikus, but if I have to choose one it would be "The next morning" 😁
I have to say that this is the first time I read Haikus in English and I have enjoyed very much the experience. I have some friends who write Haikus and it's amazing that a big story can be told in a very few words!
For some reason I missed this comment. Thank you so much, Sara! That means a lot coming from you. I’m glad you enjoyed the poems. I’ll be sure to write some more in the future.
“A Confession” is my favorite. The dish pile never ends! I even have a dishwasher for the first time in 6 years and the pile still seems endless. 😂
My husband and I texted each other haikus in our first year of dating. He didn’t know it, but I’d been saving them all so at the end of the year, I made him a book with photos and all our haikus printed alongside them. They’re such a fun way to express little (and yet profound) moments like these! Now I want to write some again.
Glad you took some time for yourself, but also happy to see you (officially) back on here! I enjoyed reading the haikus (and I’m still reading through your post from last week)-I can also relate to The Next Morning, and I join in with everyone who has said that they feel the same about A Confession. This may have been short, but it has said many, many words!
Awesome! All my people are pet people, it seems. My godparents are in the same situation, as in they found themselves feeding all the neighborhood cats in recent years.
Dead @ “The Next Morning” 🤣
Yes!
Yes!

Keep going, you are such an artist!! 😀

Wow! That’s so cool. A book of collected haikus! I’d love to see you writing some again.
Thank you! You've inspired me to write and share. Maybe soon!
Stink bugs are the bane of my existence! They like to land on the lightest thing in the room, and sometimes at night, that means ME 😫.
Cats are awesome. I loved the story above about finding Vineri 😸
Yay! Go Vineri! Thanks for reading.

Thank you for reading, Kimber! I’m super glad this resonated with people.
The next morning made me chuckle. I am all too familiar.
Haha, butt buddies😂
I have the same Confession.
You don’t know how anxious I was that this wouldn’t land, haha!
Oh no! They're perfect!
Appreciate it, June! Thanks for reading.
Heh, these are great. I think Target is my favourite.
Thank you, Nathan! I think I agree.
Love these Haikus. The stink bug is timely as they’ve infested our area. Still killing them here.
Do your cats take part in the killing? For some reason I remember you mentioning you had cats. If that’s wrong, please correct me.
You remember well. We have an outdoor cat. I'm not sure he's partaken in the stink bug assassinations.
The Next Morning made me LOL.
Then it did its job.
These are lovely, Andrei, nice to see you back, rested and restored :)
Appreciate the kindness, Edward!!!
My mum is a big fan of Confession. That’s her thro and thro
I'm glad! I just knew I wasn't the only one.
Glad to have you back! These are lovey haikus.
Thank you! That makes my heart sing.
These are great. A Confession might be my favorite :D
Haha, thanks Kristin! That was the first that I ever composed, and I was a little nervous it might be too on the nose. Glad to see it landed.
I really like these! (I'm no expert on haiku, but I think they're great.)
Have you told us more about your family in other posts? I'm new to your space. But I'd love to hear about them!
I’ve written a whole post about my cat, and another one in which I mention a recent situation that forced us to move. I shall link them below.

The one about broken routines: https://www.practicespace.blog/p/no-19-in-a-routine-rut
Hope you like ‘em!
Thanks so much for taking the time to share them!
Truly appreciate the interest!
